OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • We support stroke survivors and family caregivers by connecting them with local community resources.

  • We seek partnerships and collaborations to better fulfill our mission.
  • We are dedicated to providing free or low cost post-stroke programs.

Each year in the United States, there are close to 800,000 strokes.  Stroke is the leading cause of disabilities in the country.  The risk of having a stroke more than doubles each decade after the age of 55.

Learning about stroke can help you act in time to save a co-worker, friend, or relative.  Making changes in your lifestyle can help you prevent a stroke.
